Words can’t express how I feel. I can’t kneel down, breaking my back to get to the ground every time you are around me. 

I love you, but the truth of everyday life and the monotony of moving slow like the earth instead of burning and scorching with desire like the fire element I am is excruciating.

I can't keep opening up like this, and continue to be weak and sit there looking up with puppy dog eyes and seek your approval. All the while trying to hold on to that elusive thing called love, as my world crumbles down from around and sorrow rains from above.

6 - SPRING THING

The thaw is coming. I can feel it in my cold bones. Spring is about to burst out singing in a chorus of colors, committing biological crimes in the name of Mother Nature.

The dawn of a new moment on an old planet that has seen a billion springs and seasons, and witnessed the birth and life and death that comes after the fall of the snow and the Hyber-Nation of creatures and people from all stations and walks of life. 

I feel the warm, wet air and imagine the feel of rain in the hair that I used to have soaking up the sky’s clear blood that falls as a sacrifice to the earth for the release from another inevitable winter of the soul. There are visions in my mind of things that smell like green death but are the beginning of life that will inevitably end at the hands of an enemy we can’t possibly defend ourselves against.
